Stephen Becsi – CEO, Apollo Care
Previously, Stephen was the CEO of Appellon Pty Ltd, formerly Pulse Australasia, a Technology start-up that has produced the world’s first Digital SaaS platform that measures, monitors and influences the culture of organisations. The platform is currently being taken to market Globally. Prior to Appellon, Stephen was CEO of the Bethanie Group, one of WA’s largest NFP providers of aged care services, including residential aged care. Under his leadership Bethanie achieved top-tier standards of performance.
Stephen also served as the Director of the Navy’s Strategic Reform Program, part of a Federal Governments Defence Strategic Reform Program initiative to deliver a $20 Billion in operating savings to redirect to Capital spending.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master in Science (Logistics) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
Stephen was winner of the Aged Care Industry most Influential Business Leader of the year 2013 and numerous other awards including Runner up CEO of the Year at the Australian HR Institute. He served as President of Leading Aged Services Australia in Western Australia.
In 2015, Stephen was awarded an OAM for Services to the Aged Care Industry.
He is now the CEO of Apollo Care. Australian aged care has a well thought-through regulation and funding model: Care is government funded and regulated, Infrastructure largely funded by residents with means, largely neutral in respect of provider type. Many smaller providers have not kept pace and are struggling: more demanding consumers, more stringent regulation. Apollo Care sees an industry consolidation opportunity, putting investor funds to work in upgrading property amenity to attract better bonds. For not-for-profit providers, offering a solution that preserves mission and values – allowing them to redeploy scarce funding.
Glen Brown – GM ICT, Achieve Australia
Glen has 25+ years of experience in Commercial IT solutions design and implementation/integration delivery across Global, Regional and local Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), Consumer Goods, Freight, Logistic and Supply Chain industries for Blue Chip organisations including Pepsico, CocaCola Amatil, Canon, DHL Supply Chain, DBSchenker and QANTAS.
Glen has been in the care services industry for 3 years, with experience covering a multitude of platforms and solutions with focus upon large scale ERP-based operations augmented by significant cross-platform solution integration. More recently, in the challenging disability space, Glen has lead a team to deliver organisational transformation to modern day platforms including self-building data insights that have attributed to shaping organisational outcomes.
Glenn Payne – CIO, Feros Care
With over 10 years of technology experience in the care service sector, Glenn is now a quality of care focused CIO for Feros Care leading his team to deliver solutions centred around the control, dignity, and connectivity for aged and disability clients.
Utilising a mix of smart technologies and focused investments Glenn and the team have been able to deliver and define a data driven culture for Feros Care. A passionate leader, Glenn defines culture as king for his team and has used this energy to assist the organisation through its digital transformation and positioning Feros Care as a leader in the sector.
